The purpose of the Friends of the Bolivar County Library System is to provide funds and volunteers to support the library in its mission to serve people of all ages and diverse backgrounds.  The Friends sponsor an annual book sale, an on-going book sale, Summer Library Program activities, as well as other special programs within the BCLS. 

The Friends of the Bolivar County Library System is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization approved by Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
